- Leads the Patient Access Department in achieving all KPI goals including up front cash collections, authorization accuracy, denials management, staffing metrics, NOA timeliness, and patient satisfaction.
- Responsible for overseeing all daily operations of patient access services including registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and patient admitting.
- Leads the Denials Management Action Team consisting of the CFO, Denials Director, RI Director, and Case Management Director for analyzing insurance denials and reimbursement rates to reduce denial trends and further maximize hospital revenues.
- Streamlined the facility's Hospice admission process which resulted in a more efficient and timely creation of Hospice accounts with respect to ICU, PCU, and MedSurg requests.
- Collaborated with Cath Lab leadership and ER physicians to integrate process improvement for STEMI and Trauma ER timely admissions efficiency.
- Responsible for maintaining staffing efficiency for the Emergency and Main Outpatient Registration Departments by analyzing man hours per stat, OT percentages, and FTE variance statistics.
- Successful in leveraging Stonecrest Medical Center to consistently reaching top 10 out of 26 hospitals for the TriStar division's Month over Revenues (MOR).
- Consistently mentors the Patient Access Manager, Team Leaders, and Managers in Training.
