As DevOps manager for Ria Digital (a division of Ria Company under Euronet umbrella), my team is responsible supporting Ria Money Transfer web and mobile app (Android and iOS).

I am responsible for a team of 5 dispersed in different time zones (El Salvador, US, Spain and Malaysia).

Part of my team main responsibilities are:

• Keep our production environment in compliance with the different security policies (on prem and AWS).
• Support deployments to production.
• Maintain build and release pipelines
• Maintain Load balancers and Web Applications Firewalls (WAF).
• Maintain our monitoring systems and create the monitors needed to provide a good visibility of our platform to the NOC team.
• Support and guide development and QA team to implement maintainable and scalable solutions.
• Provide 24/7 support for any incident incident affecting production environment, guaranteeing the least impact on the volume of transactions.
• Collaborated with product specialists to understand requirements and align business processes to product features and capabilities.

• Contributed ideas and suggestions in team meetings and delivered updates on deadlines, designs, and enhancements.
• Corrected, modified and upgraded software to improve performance.
• Sync with my manager about the team activities and determinate priorities.
• Develop new automated solutions to facilitate platform maintenance.

• Standardize code versioning system across teams.
• Standardize logs format to be able to use a central logging system.
• Monitored automated build and continuous software integration process to drive build/release failure resolution.
• Standardize deployment process across applications.
• Develop build and release pipelines for mobile applications (android/iOS)
• Troubleshoot any production issue and support during any possible outage.
• Implement monitoring system to provide the NOC team the ability to monitor the platform health.

Maintain NOC and Deployment scripts: - Automate failover between data centers

• Automate task across servers cluster for emergency/critical situations
• Develop and maintain new features for Epay deployment process

Project - Puppet: - Develop desired state configuration for windows and linux servers

• Support and troubleshoot

Project - F5 (Geo) Loadbalancer: - Administer, maintain and troubleshoot F5 systems

• Develop and maintain automation tools for reporting and traffic management
