I have been coaching softball for over 20 year at varying levels, I currently the Softball Head Coach at Lone Peak High School in Highland.
Responsibility include but are not limited to, maintaining a respectable relationships with my AD. (Athletic Director) and other Administrators, along with a good working relationship with the parents and players.
I am required to take courses in Bullying, hazing, child abuse and financial course called P.A.C.E each year to maintain my coaches certificate.
I am very proud of the relationship with my players and parents, we respect each other boundaries and are able to talk out any situations that arise.
When I was hired for the job 4 seasons ago the program was in disarray, only 9 girls came to tryouts, since then I have worked hard going to city league games, seeking out younger players to help them improve their skills. Each year our program grown in size, this last season 2022 we had 22 players tryout and were able to play thru the season , we even made it to the State playoffs.
