Successfully implemented a Tableau crime reporting platform that provided to MPD Chief of Police and Command Staff data analytics of the types of crimes that occurred in the past 24 hours per district to include murder, assault, burglary, and robbery.

  • Better define on district level types of resources and technology solutions needed to fight crime.
  • Command staff make smarter decisions as regards to utilizing resources in e efficient and effective manner.

Rapidly deployed Cisco DX80 Desktop Collaboration System (life size video teleconferencing on 23-inch size screens) throughout MPD DC district offices and courts during outbreak of COVID.

  • Reduced MPD's Technology Department yearly cost of renewing vendor teleconferencing application licenses.
  • MPD /Traffic Courts able to facilitate more routine court procedures/arraignments.
  • Officers do not have to travel to court houses for arrangement hearings for traffic violations.

Conducted pilot rollout of the mobile fingerprinting system that connected with the Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS )to MPD Investigative Services.

  • As tool, increased ability for MPD officers while interacting with person on streets to identify if person may pose danger to officer or DC community.
  • Increased speed in matching of fingerprint rather than traditional ink method of finger printing for large processing,

Executed for the DC Unified Communication Center a non -emergency infrastructure platform to address surge of calls during the onset of COVID that impacted the ability respond within the standard time to meet compliance requirements.

  • Collaborated with MPD's business leaders and executives to devised solution to respond to citizens calls in timely manner,
  • Implemented new telephone system and operations that separated non emergency telephone calls from crisis calls.
  • Able to improve and meet compliance requirements to respond to callers.

Successfully implemented a Microsoft Cloud security model, Muti-Factor Authentication (MFA) throughout MPD districts and headquarters personnel.
