Taught Parenting classes, child passenger safety technician course and staff development content.

As a Public Health Nurse I worked with primarily families with young children. Not only doing home visits but teaching parenting classes in group of individual settings, teaching Child Passenger Safety (CPS) and the CPS technician course, through the State of Iowa, to provide education to families for safely securing their children in car seats and seat belts. While employed at Waverly Health Center I was on various committees, councils and staff development teams that focused on patient, family and team needs.
