Donovan Shaw

I'm a high energy, enthused, African American male who has always worked in fast pace, high volume salons and barbershops. Even while I was in school finishing my undergraduate degree I always found it quite enjoyable being around those who enjoyed good film and television, but most of all amazing acting. I got sucked into anything from Desperate Housewives to those reenacting for Forensic Files. I was always intrigued by the perfections in the actor's/actress' expressions, the articulations of their mannerisms and the sheer comedic timing of their punchlines. And so for the past several I've used my position behind the chairs in my salons as sort of my stage to practice and perform. Now more than ever I know that I am ready to these years of perfecting and refining on the big screen. I'm super witty on my feet and can go back and forth for as long as I need to when I need to. Eventually I would love to land rolls that I can be super versatile in, from dramatic and serious to more fun and comedic. Thanks for you time and God Bless.
