• Completed a night shift 230 hour Practicum experience in the ventilator unit, where I gained hands-on experience caring for ventilated patients. Enjoyed performing full nursing duties during the shift, including medication administration with strict adherence to the 7 rights of medication administration, patient monitoring, and providing safe, attentive care in a high-acuity environment.
• I also have 3 other clinicals in geriatrics rehabilitation environments where I learned how to place foleys, wound care, medication administration, hanging IVs and assisting with IV medication, properly put on PPE, data anylsist etc. I learned a lot in these environments and I was supervised on all tasks by our clinical instructor to be sure everything was done professionally and correctly.
