Accepted a position as an Assistant Manager, spending 6-18 months training to become a Store Manager.

Nine months as the center store Merchandising ASM Manager then promoted to the Pro ASM over Pro Sales, Lumber, Tools and Hardware

In the Company Associate survey I received the highest rating in my store for Associate relations.

As Pro Manager Sales have improved by 20% and have recieved recognition for improvement in department conditions

• Established all programs and policies
• Improved the receiving and stocking of the store

• The Store I was hired for was one that had been a challenge, an experienced Manager was needed..
• Reestablished all Company programs, processes and filled all but 2 Dept Manager jobs.
• Replaced the Assistant Manager and Service Manager who were failing in the position
• Managers were provided a plan for improvement.

• Accepted the position as a Store Manager in a store that had been opened for 8 months and had 5 previous Store Managers. The store was "broken", needing an experienced Manager.
• Reestablished all Company programs and processes.
• Set procedure to get 80+ pallets of freight worked and store ready for Christmas
• Met with each Manager and Supervisor to determine a plan for their improvement or replacement.
• Improved status of store through conditions of the store and product on the shelf.

• Improved store status from worst in Company, 1163 to 870 by implementing process improvements and identifying performance gaps for corrective action in 18 months.

• Oversaw all store operations in a 110 million sales store.
• Trained the first three classes of the Walmart China Managers and created the training manual for classes
• Trained the first Grocery crew for the first Super Walmart in California
• My last store was a "RED Store" and I was successful in reestablishing Associate relations, Community standing and returned Store to 100 million status
• Trained and promoted ASM and Co-managers for other stores
• Improved Inventory results in last store from 1.6% to 0.4 %
• Last 18 months I over saw my store and two neighboring stores to assist District Manager
