• Obtains relevant information from applicants and recipients about items like income, other financial resources, and financial obligations/debts; more information is obtained to address discrepancies in the applications and declarations by phone, letter, or in-person interviews.
• Establishes eligibility standards in line with established procedures; enters data for case records; and explains program rules and other essential information to applicants, beneficiaries, and the general public.
• Communicate daily with medical social workers and case management to ensure patient needs are met.
