I am currently seeking a career path in a hospital or clinic setting being able to learn on the job skills and work side by side with health care professionals.
In between my past years of working as an Event and Marketing coordinator I was also a care giver for family members.
My brother was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2014. I took a leave of absence at that time from the Gilmore Car Museum to care for my brother .
I helped him with all chemo appointments, recording what medications worked or caused complications.
During this time my Mother also became ill and my time was fully devoted to caring for both my brother and my Mother.
For my Mother I was able to find her funding for assisted living, I scheduled and took her to all of her medical appointments and collaborated with Hospice/Centricare for help in end of life care along with my brother.
With many ER visits and hospital stays I got to see first hand the importance of a knowledgeable caring and empathetic medical staff .
I wish to continue to help be there for those who need a smiling face or caring hand and be in a setting with a professional medical care Team where I can learn and grow.
