As a certified medical assistant in a spa I assist with procedures like injections, laser treatments, chemical pills requiring knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and work basic medical procedures. I ensure that the treatment area is clean, organized and properly stocked with necessary equipment and supplies include including sterilizing equipment. We need to be proficient in accurately documenting patient information and procedures, ensuring proper record keeping. I also assist with scheduling follow-up or new clients and take payments. Customer service is very important. We need to be friendly approachable and able to provide excellent customer service to ensure patient satisfaction.
