I managed the cashiers/ service desk associates at Wal-Mart. My responsibilities included training associates, daily paperwork, defusing issues at the service desk, and handling the money.

I was in charge of scheduling, hiring, firing, orientation of new employees, training new cashiers. I ordered all the groceries for the gas station, rotated product and initiated returns on out of date products, renewed contacts with vendors, ordered fuel. I was responsible for maintaining maintenance on the fuel pumps, changing fuel filters, scheduling line testing for the store, sticking the fuel tanks to ensure there wasn't water in the tanks. I was also responsible for all the vendors checking in products and adding all new merchandise to our system. I was in charge of counting all the money, daily bank deposits, daily paperwork, payroll and loading the safe. Checking in lottery tickets, loading tickets, unloading tickets, and making sure we were in compliance with the lottery commission. I was also responsible for keeping up with everyone's tabc certificates ensuring they were able to sell alcohol and tobacco.
