RNAi Undergraduate Research Assistant, Daphnia Research Lab: University of Notre Dame

01/25-current

Part of the RNA interference team studying the impacts of various gene knockouts and modifications on behavior for the model organism Daphnia. Currently studying ABC transporters and their roles in the brain, ultimately linking to human healthcare. 


Life Sciences Summer Scholars, University of Notre Dame

06/22-07/22

Spent two weeks conducting field research on stream quality assessments and cancer biology. Utilized molecular biology techniques to analyze cancer cell markers and design model chemotherapeutic treatments supported by literature review and discussions with Notre Dame researchers.
