Hockey, gardening, yoga, paddleboarding
- I have been playing hockey for the past seven years and love it. I am currently part of the MSU DII women's club hockey team. There is no other feeling like getting out on the ice. I am beyond grateful to have the opportunity to continue playing this sport and receive the ongoing lessons it teaches me, such as the importance of hard work, teamwork, and friendship.
- For the past three summers, I have grown a garden. Caring for my plants helps me see the importance of caring for myself. I am hoping to donate my produce to local food banks this year.
- Yoga has been a passion of mine for a long time and is something I enjoy. Taking a moment to breathe allows me to relax and focus on the present moment, which I try applying to my everyday life.
- Paddleboarding is another hobby that allows me to step back and enjoy nature in the moment. Practicing mindfulness in this way helps me stay mindful in other areas of my life.
