At Hi-way Harry's, I had to earn my spot as a trustworthy server there. It started when I was just a host, but then I eventually got asked to serve once I got more comfortable with the restaurant. I then was only allowed to take two or three top tables, until eventually, I earned the trust of my boss to take larger tables and parties as well. There, I've learned how to handle many tables at once, work efficiently, but neatly, and how communicate effectively with my customers to keep them happy.
