  • Performed many experiments throughout the project such as colony PCR to select the right colony; transfected mutated SIV and FIV virus into 293T cell; Designed a Reverse Transcriptase Assay (RT Assay) to determine the RT activity of the cells; recorded test results and discussed them with a post-doc
  • Worked on a research study to elaborate the use of CRISPR/CAS 9 genome editing tool in reactivating latent HIV virus and causing a complete eradication of the HIV virus
