Growing up in Chile, I always had a deep desire to expand my horizons, which led me to pursue my education in the United States. My journey began in Austin, Texas, where I spent a year learning English and preparing for the SAT. The process of adapting to a new language and culture was challenging, but it fueled my determination to succeed. After passing the TOEFL exam and the SAT, I knew I was ready to take the next step in my education. I enrolled in college and dedicated four years to earning my degree in criminal justice. During this time, I also worked tirelessly to pay for my tuition, balancing my studies with the demands of my job. This experience taught me resilience, discipline, and the value of hard work. Now, with my degree in hand, I'm ready to apply what I've learned to make a meaningful impact in the field of criminal justice.
