Born again Christian, Husband, Dad and Papa. Custom Carpenter and Seasoned dairy farm kid, 4H member, showed beef and dairy cattle and hogs. Many extra curricular activities throughout high school such as track, band and drama. Changed careers early and adhered to the hard life in construction. Learning from bottom up to running a cabinet shop, driving school bus for 26 years part time, married and raising 3 children. While raising our own beef cattle and helping our kids show all the way to a Major show, Cattlemen's Congress in Oklahoma City this past January.
Regenerative Ag has been a passion of mine for the last ten years, learning from Gabe Brown and many others. Implementing it on our own operation and into a different mindset. Kids are all graduated and we have two grandchildren.
Hunting has been a passion of mine since I was a small child. Predator, whitetail, elk, mule deer and a fondness for watching wildlife to learn their movements and survival. God's Creation has always been a lifelong learning experience that I truly enjoy.
Besides witnessing our 3 children being born, I would say that working in the outdoors has been the greatest treasure for me. I have worked from -37 below in Northern Minnesota to 117 above in Northern Mexico. Winds, tempests, tornados, dust storms, hail, lightning, and deep snow. I've worked them all. I've also driven through all of them. Working in the oil fields of North Dakota to the inner city of Minneapolis, I've seen almost every kind of situation that there is, to the different colors of people to the colorful personalities that you can imagine. Worked weeks and weeks in the field with very little sleep to night driving through a New Mexico blizzard.
My favorite quote from an old cowboy is....
"By God's Grace, I've done so much with so little for so long, that I feel that I could do anything with nothing in no time flat."
