I want to work as a CBP officer because I have a strong desire to serve and protect my country. I’m drawn to the responsibility of securing our borders and helping prevent illegal activities. Such as, drug trafficking and human smuggling. I also value the important role CBP plays in supporting legal trade and travel. I’m looking for a career that is challenging, fast-paced, and meaningful, and I believe being a CBP officer would allow me to grow professionally while making a real difference in the safety and well-being of our communities. The stability, benefits, and opportunities for advancement also make this career path especially appealing to me.
