I am a organized and dependable college student working towards my BS in Civil engineering at The University of Alabama. Along with being eager and ready to learn I am a skilled multitasker with superior work ethic and have exceptional teamwork, and organizational skills. Always willing to take on any task to help my team while being reliable and dedicated team player with hardworking and resourceful approach to any situation thrown at me.
I have been wanting to become a Civil Engineer since middle school. In order to give myself the best opportunity I applied for a transfer into a high school that offered the Project Lead the Way program and was accepted this allowed me access to equipment and lessons I wouldn't have been learning until college if not being accepted. Along with the PLTW program I also took Architectural Engineering Design one through three giving me a even better understanding of what really goes into engineering process and allowed me to use CAD programming and begin getting a handle on floor, electrical and plumbing plans. Then on top of all that exposure I also participated in the ACE mentorship program my senior year working along side other students with hopes of a future in engineering to redesign a piece of land into something that the entire community could use while having to go through the real world steps. Then present to a entire theater of observers getting first place. Within the short time I have been learning about this field I have only become more intrigued and learned countless random facts it has made me eager to continue my path and become part of this growing community of engineering.
