I was a lead deckhand on a Mississippi River towboat transporting up to 30 barges between New Orleans and St louis. I also have experience on the Illinois River up to Havana, IL

this included building tows, breaking tows, mooring vessel, barge winch maintenance, barge inspection/maintenance, vessel maintenance and cooking. I was also in charge in the training of many green deckhands. Many of the steel wires that we carried weighed well over 100 lbs. many time we would need to carry multiple of these wires hundreds if not thousands of feet in case of emergencies.

I was in training to become a relief engineer woking on two 3000hp EMD two-stroke diesel engines. training for relief engineer duties which included Fueling vessel, engine maintenance, and maintaining all vessel equipment.

I have experience in the following locks: Lock 27, Upper Mississippi River, Mel Price lock and Dam, LaGrange Lock and Dam, and Peoria Lock and Dam.

I worked on four different boats who's interior were identical to one another 140'x40'; two 5600hp and two 6000hp.

I also have experience in driving around the united states and experience flying to multiple airports.
