I am an incoming senior at New York University, majoring in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. I recently transferred from Tulane University where I spent my last semester abroad in Barcelona taking classes in Spanish. With a passion for literacy, research, creative writing, social justice, and health and wellness promotion, I spent time outside class at Tulane as a Certified Peer Health Educator and an editor for the Tulane Undergraduate Research Journal. I have worked as a Classroom Director for DreamCatchers for two summers, a program designed to provide academic support for underserved middle schoolers. Additionally, I worked remotely for 5 weeks as an editorial intern for Mind4Youth, a nonprofit addressing teen mental health and making resources accessible to all. I am currently a remote intern with Copilot Publishing, an editorial and marketing services company. As a creatively driven person, I strive to use my skills in critical thinking and analysis to assist in projects and work that are innovative and powerful.
