

Responsible for planning and producing daily meals while keeping food cost down and maintaining high food quality and beautiful presentation. Control, monitor and maintain safe food handling and sanitation. Manage multiply site and 16 employees.
Duties included: Training incoming employees, register close-out, and banking responsibilities. Assisted customers in locating inventory; helped when needed with unloading trucks, stocking or wherever needed, also handled all customer related problems. Planned store events and classes.
Maintained security, custody and control. Performed bi-weekly inventory checks on inmates' tools and gave a detailed report to superiors. Performed frequent shake downs, rounds and counts. Worked in blanching and the kitchen as well.
Picking up and dropping off medications to other facilities; securing medical facilities/ setting alarms.
Prepared all cold foods, desserts, breads and when shorthanded on dining room floor I would help out. I hired in as wait staff then just moved up on mere accident. When the baker didn't come in one day I stepped in and did the job as well as mine. After that event, I was offered the position. This is what sparked my love for culinary arts.
