• Empower and guide adult ESOL students to success while leading a dedicated team of volunteer tutors— all working towards a common goal of enriching lives and fostering community through language education

Accountabilities and Duties:

1. Student Support Services:

• Conduct intake, assessments, and surveys.
• Place students in appropriate classes or match them with tutors for online or in-person instruction.
• Instruct individuals or small classes, online or in-person, as needed.
• Track student attendance and make weekly retention calls.
• Refer students to other programs or support agencies, as needed.

2. Volunteer Tutor Support and Oversight:

• Conduct tutor trainings and evaluations.
• Advise tutors on instructional materials.

3. Program Support

• Assist with curriculum development.
• Communicate with staff at partner organizations hosting classes at locations around Greensboro and High Point.
• Assist with community awareness and recruitment efforts.
• Contribute to regular team and staff meetings.
• Collect student and tutor stories for marketing efforts.
• Occasionally participate in the hiring process and staff training.

• Nightly balancing duties, daily paperwork, and shift reports
• While completing these duties, the Night Auditor will attend to guest needs such as guest check-in/check-outs, reservations, and attending to guest questions and needs

• Retrieving and scheduling radiology exams for patients
• Answering and routing incoming calls and faxes from patients and referring physician practices in a timely manner

• Lead a group of servers to provide exceptional dinning service
