Accomplishments

I attended a week-long police academy program with the New Britain Police Department, the curriculum consisted of:

  • Firearm training,
  • Defensive and pursuit driving,
  • Worked with a simulator that allowed us to learn and practice making quick decisions in high pressure police encounters.
  • We learned about many police practices in lectures given by New Britain police officers including police protocols, watching and analyzing police footage, and practicing field sobriety tests.

Attended a two week Leadership program with the YMCA in Camp Hazen overnight during the summer of 2019.
