Worked alongside my school team to implement a new schoolwide behavior system, PBIS. We worked to try and keep it consistent throughout the building.

During this time I mostly taught Kindergarten. I was in the Kindergarten classroom from Fall 2006-Spring 2010.
I taught First Grade from Fall 2010-Spring 2011.
I moved back to Kindergarten for Fall 2011-Spring 2013.
I then taught Second Grade from Fall 2013-Spring 2016.
During this time I was ELLA trained, CGI trained and participated in many district professional development opportunities to further my learning and best practices to take to my classroom.
During this time I was a graduate student enrolled in the Master of Arts program through the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. I interned and student taught for nine weeks in a kindergarten classroom, eighteen weeks in a third grade classroom and then a final nine weeks in a first grade classroom.
I not only enjoy teaching children and watching them learn in so many different ways, I enjoy being a mom to my two wonderful children and being involved in all of their interests as well.
