I am a first-semester nursing student with a strong passion for women’s health and a long-term goal of becoming a Labor and Delivery nurse. I bring several years of hands-on healthcare experience, including emergency medical services and my current role as a Clinical Support Technician in an outpatient urgent care setting. Through these roles, I have gained valuable experience in patient assessment and triage, obtaining vital signs, phlebotomy, IV insertion, specimen collection, wound care, and collaborating closely with nurses and healthcare providers. My experience has strengthened my ability to remain calm in fast-paced environments, communicate compassionately with patients, and provide safe, attentive care. I am seeking an opportunity within women’s health or Labor and Delivery where I can continue developing my clinical knowledge, learn from experienced nursing professionals, and build a strong foundation for my future career as a Registered Nurse.
In Progress: Currently completing nursing coursework and hands-on clinical training focused on patient assessment, medication administration, nursing skills, patient safety, and providing compassionate, patient-centered care in preparation for RN licensure.
Completed a broad-based academic curriculum emphasizing critical thinking, written and verbal communication, mathematics, natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities, providing a strong foundation for continued education in nursing and healthcare.
