- I issue temporary room, mail, and building keys to any student who needs them using the WVU computer system
- I also check in guests who arrived with a resident after 9 pm and obtain and input their important identification information into the computer system as well
- Additionally, I am in charge of assisting with any emergencies that occur during early morning hours, such as fire alarms, instances needing the university police, needing maintenance help, providing any emotional or mental help that I can offer to the students, etc
- Any other assistance needed from the students I provide help with, or it is my job to find someone who can help.

- I traveled around to courthouses in different counties in West Virginia, specifically Kanawha and Jackson counties, to utilize their records rooms to search through public records to investigate and find evidence of possession of land ownership and of mineral and gas rights, and create a timeline of when and who had the land throughout its history.

- As a hostess at this restaurant, I had many tasks
- I had to create and make a seating chart and make sure it was followed throughout the entire day to create a good flow in the restaurant so that the servers, cooks, and managers did not get overwhelmed
- Along with creating the seating chart, I also greeted the customers and took them to their tables with menus and silverware, making seating accommodations if necessary, such as moving tables and chairs
- After guests were finished with their meals, they would come to a front cash-out stand to pay their bill, which was another one of my tasks
- I handled cash, cards, and gift cards
- While attending to the front of the restaurant, I was also in charge of phone orders and take-out orders, both placing the orders and bagging them up and getting them ready
- My last major duty was cleaning the front stands, the menus, and rolling silverware, however, I assisted with the cleaning and bussing of the tables and rest of the restaurant during my shift as well.
