Versatile and dynamic, I am a person that puts my multiple interests and love of learning at the front of everything I do. I enjoy learning from other people and sharing my enthusiasm for whatever topic I am focusing on, trying to make the best of every situation I am placed in. I delight in a challenge, as it allows me to learn quickly and when I make a mistake, I am very open to revisions and ways to make my work more effective.
I have a sharp attention to detail when working in scientific, data entry and maintenance jobs and I am an effective worker both as part of a team and when left alone. I ask as many questions as I can think of, and always desire to understand the rationale, reasoning and bigger picture for anything I am working on.
When offered the chance to be creative, I am forward-thinking and adaptable to a variety of social situations and working conditions, and someone that is always looking to push boundaries and develop more efficient methods of doing something. I am patient and collaborative when working with coworkers and my students, and appreciate the challenge of working under pressure.
I achieved the Eagle Scout rank from the Boy Scouts of America, the highest rank in the organization. I was in Boy Scouts from age 11 to age 18, and achieved my Eagle Scout rank five months before my 18th birthday (the age cutoff for the organization.) I did a major service project to satisfy the Eagle Scout requirement, involving a few thousand dollars of fundraising. The project entailed landscaping and restoration of the Sandown Old Meeting House in my hometown, protecting the 1773 building that has been unaltered since its construction and has been placed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
