Self motivated and hard working. Joined the company in 1982 as a temporary staff on 3 month probation. Hired as a permanent staff within 3 weeks. From a clerical position, moved to Executive Director, Retired in February 2024 after 40 years at the same company. Position required managing and supervising a team of 16 staff members assisting our customers with their Export and Import transactions. Some of these transactions were multimillion Dollars. Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporations is among the 10th largest banks in the world and the yearly turnover of our department exceeded a billion. Activities included checking of the customer provided documents (Invoices, Packing lists, Transport documents etc) for compliance with the Letters of Credit, processing of accounting entries for these transactions (which often included financing), checking of Credit Limits, Bank Reconciliation, wire transfers and liaise with customers, front office among other things. Currently looking for an oppurtinty to keep myself busy.
