Garrett Weaver

I started my career at DAJD in August 2020 as a Juvenile Detention Officer. I held this position up until February 1, 2025 when I was promoted to Corrections Supervisor. During my time as a JDO I was a Field Training Officer, Defensive tactics instructor, ARV Intake staff and held a backfill specialist role for Classification and Supervisor position. In 2021 I was injured and placed on light duty for 6 months. I was assigned to assist with the implementation of JMS as this was the future of our work, removing paper and moving to online processes for daily operations. Being on this assignment for many months I became very familiar with JMS and many of the processes we now use daily. In the last 7 months, I have been working with my management team as well as the JMS administrators to ensure the proper rollout of new features we are using, as well as the general applications to ensure that all processes align with how our work is actually completed in detention while also following all policy's and procedures.
