Gavin Shafer

From a young age, aviation has been a passion of mine. I vividly remember attending the Houston Airshow at Ellington Field with my grandpa and being captivated by the incredible planes in the sky. My dad, an employee for TSA at the time, would share photos of A380s that he captured during his breaks, further fueling my love for the industry. Today, I am proud to say that I’ve taken the next step in my journey by beginning my flight training at Lonestar Conroe and US Aviation.

Through this internship, I aim to not only deepen my understanding of the aviation field but also build a lasting career with United Airlines. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to a company I deeply admire, while also learning and growing within an industry that has fascinated me for as long as I can remember. My goal is to establish a lifelong career and relationship with United Airlines, leveraging my passion, dedication, and skills to contribute to the continued success of the organization.
