- Serving at Friendship Community for 22 years, I have served in various roles. The roles included Direct Support Professional for about 10 years, Residential Manager from 2015 to 2019, and my current role as Residential Coordinator since November 2019.
- As a DSP, I would take the lead and assist. of the individuals we serve. In addition, I took on various additional roles that included more responsibilities than my previous titles. These titles included Advisor 2, and Advisor 3.
- As a Residential Manager, I served our one home for 3+ years. This home was not a structurally sound home, with individuals' needs and staffing within the home. Working alongside my coordinator's oversight, we were able to turn the home around to become more sound and stable. This home is still one of our stable homes within the organization.
- As Residential Coordinator I oversea 4-5 homes. I offer daily support to the individuals, DSPs, and Residential Manager. The role has helped me further develop leadership skills.
