  • As the Program Manager for Anti-Cancer Challenge reporting to the Associate Director, I have assisted in building all aspects of the annual event, which includes budgeting and reconciling finances, planning lead up events which include research receptions and lab tours as well as the Anti-Cancer Challenge annual kickoff event and Anti-Cancer Challenge training rallies. I have worked with the team to build and improve the event in my time here and we have successfully exceeded our fundraising and participant numbers year over year.
  • I manage 10 -15 the grassroots events year round, going out into the community to spread the word about Anti-Cancer Challenge resulting in growth of our participation numbers and exceeding annual fundraising year over year.
  • Managed 200+ volunteers for annual event and coordinated registration packet pick-up for 3,000+ participants.
  • I have strong relationships with campus leadership and management, as well as community leaders and liaisons which help build and support the event as well, serving as the primary point of contact for all constituencies.
  • I process all financial payments to vendors across campus and in the private sector.
  • As a team, we have streamlined our processes to address issues reported in the event feedback and improve the event year over year.
