Filmmaking

I have spent the past 5 years following and filming muralists and graffiti artists in Taos, NM. The film shows the lives of working artists attempting to maintain the status quo in a community where Fine Art thrives and the style that speaks to them struggles, and yet has a profound voice. The film depicts their struggles with addiction recovery while putting on display the therapeutic power that art has on their recovery. The working title for the film is "Vagrant Hearts" and I am exploring an independent route of release and distribution that mirrors their art style and delivery.
