My affiliation with the SVN | Blackstream Charleston Office has originated in February 2020 after 27 years of experience in multiple asset classes of commercial real estate to include retail, industrial, medical office, student housing, land, manufactured housing parks, and site analysis and sourcing. Additionally, I have focused on specific fields of distressed assets such as acting as a Court Appointed Receiver and as a fiduciary for the benefit of all parties most specifically the Court of Appointing Jurisdiction. I am currently one of thirteen SVN|BlackStream Special Assets Group Members. I have completed projects to include land acquisition for the Charleston County Parks & Recreation Department, Build-To-Suit Lease for "Charleston Freight Station" / 50,000 SF US Customs Inspection Station for the Port of Charleston, Charleston County School District, acquisition for residential apartment complexes, "930 NoMo" 430 Bed Student Housing Development Serving the "College of Charleston", "Art Institute", "Medical University of SC", etc. I have represented both buyers and sellers in these projects and others while at "Palmetto Commercial Properties LLC" and at "Limehouse Properties" previously.

While with Limehouse Properties I was responsible for multi-layered negotiations for clients who were comprised of buyers, sellers, tenants, and landlords to achieve diversified goals while dealing with the minutiae of the acquisition process. As an aspect of Commercial Real Estate one learns that not every deal pursued ends with success as there are often multiple parties trying to achieve a certain goal to the exclusion of the other. What one must accomplish and take in stride is the experience to take the setbacks with the wins and to persevere in a positive learning manner in everything one enters into. This position at Limehouse Properties goes in the win column along with the affiliation with my lifelong friend Chip Limehouse who was always a part of this Firm.

  • Assisted various student housing groups with site analysis and planning during acquisitions.

We are experienced in this arena to include Hotels, Condos, Office Buildings, and multiple other commercial or large residential community concerns. In addition as Realtors, we can provide asset sales or leasing services both before or after legal proceedings end. If all parties see the merit of a third-party management team preserving an asset before legal issues arise we will be pleased to assist at that point also.
