• I was voted ‘School Related Employee of the Year’ for Minneola Charter in2019, and again in2025. I consider this recognition very important to me, as it was chosen based on a hand written vote by all200+ staff members to nominate their choice, followed by a head-to-head vote with the top three on the ballot.
• I consider myself to be a “People Person” I enjoy and am comfortable working with people. I am a good listener and am able to put people at ease readily. My experience has given me the ability to deal with awkward and potentially confrontational situations in a calm and confident manner.
• I am a good learner, being able to grasp new information and procedure quickly. Colleagues also say that I am good at imparting knowledge in an easy and uncomplicated way. My experiences in teaching children have given me skills in creativity, in that I am able to turn learning into an enjoyable experience.
