Working in a small town setting has allowed me to develop my interpersonal skills when it comes to dealing with customers. As a waitress I have been able to make connections with anyone who walks in our doors. I have also developed my time management skills when it comes to checking in on customers in order to keep them satisfied. In addition, I have learned how much a positive attitude and willingness to hustle goes a long way in a professional environment such as this one. Working in food service has helped me to realize my skills I've learned from sports in a real-world setting, and has set me up to continue applying them in the future.
