As a child, I started volunteering at the church my parents run, and learned how to work at a very young age. I spent my time cleaning after events and participating as a hostess. I also created things such as food, signs, and props from Christmas programs.
When I finally turned 18 years old, I finally got a paying job at a local Whataburger in Searcy. I found myself drawn to the position of customer service cashier because I like making others happy. To me, if my service can make someone smile that day then that means I did a good job. I found my passion for the arts at a very young age as well, and it is something that genuinely means the world to me. However, I did not stay long in this position due to bad management and a better job opportunity.
I got my job as a customer service cashier at Burgers, Pies, and Fries a day after I quit my previous job. This job was a bit more demanding when it comes to schedule and work load, but I like to serve and make others happy. I worked at the register, drive thru, kitchen work, and as a busser,
I developed a love for the arts when I was very young and it became my passion. Despite what a lot of people said, it was not just a hobby to me; it was my passion. Art was something that I knew I wanted to pursue and do what I love so dearly as a living. I spent many days of my life hunched over a sketchbook until I got my first computer and began working in digital art. I have tried my best to work in as many mediums as I can so I not only have greater opportunities for myself, but as an experience.
When I entered college, I had no prior art class experience. All I had to myself was the practice that I taught myself over the years. I am currently working hard for my Associates Degree in Graphic design and hopefully work towards higher education.
