Activity Coordinator

  • Provides work direction and/or works with other Operation Technician roles to ensure the execution of work direction as defined by the plant needs.

  • Assists Operations during plant upsets activities such as performing minor maintenance, responding to plant issues, mitigating small leaks/spills w/o entry, etc. ensuring appropriate action and follow up is taken
  • Helps Identify maintenance needs and directs and/or participates in equipment preparation tasks for maintenance. This includes:
  • Ensuring equipment is adequately prepped and ready for daily scheduled maintenance
  • Primary contact for daily maintenance activities as scopes change or follow-up is necessary
  • Update (as necessary) submitted work orders; coach & train others on good WO discipline
  • Safe Work Permits (Writing and reviewing)

  • Compliance Coordinator/Omissions Report Auditor which includes completing specific compliance checks as well as making sure the department completes all compliance checks properly. Assists Operations in completing daily EH&S compliance checks

Start Up / Shut Down Coordinator

  • Ensures unplanned start-ups and shutdowns are executed in a safe and effective manner using the appropriate operating discipline

  • Designed employee training curricula to instill necessary process skills, verifying competency via subsequent test procedures.
