I shadowed under a Nurse who cared for special needs patients in a home.

• I was given the opportunity to do a check up on some of her patients that were admitted into the hospital.
• At one of the apartments, we did a check up one of her patients and she gave me the opportunity to learn how to change his catheter.
• We later went into a larger home, with far more patients. I interacted with these patients and helped give them their medication and also check their blood sugar.
• I was shown how to do charts and sign offs.
