Being born and raised in Philadelphia by two architects, I have always been surrounded by the city, and passionate about issues related to housing, design, and equity. My time at Vassar College in the Urban Studies program cemented my interest in problems relating to housing, and enabled me to write an undergraduate thesis on issues of gentrification occurring in the area of North Philly surrounding Temple University. Now, as a Bartender, I have honed my public speaking and customer service skills, while affirming my belief in the power and positivity of neighborhood institutions around which communities can thrive.
