In this client centric role as a lead for the application architecture pod for the Modernization on Demand team, I am responsible for working with clients, understand their needs, perform infrastructure and application assessments and delivering possible modernization path for the identified set of applications

I created a variety of tools to assist with rapid assessment including PowerApps, excel-based tool for disposition of application using programming language, database and hosting platform details, inventory dashboard for migration assessments etc

This is primarily a technical sales role in which I get to work with clients in different industries, get a chance to understand and solve business problems, understand different perspectives, and present solutions/roadmaps with pricing details based on client’s requirements to the client technical teams, technical architects, CTOs, CIOs, and other major stakeholders

As a result of the direct work done with clients where I was involved, total deals of around $22.5 million dollars were won during the last year spent in this role. These deals will be implemented in the next two years with multiple clients

As a senior cloud architect, I was responsible for leading the Surface Platform at Chevron to ensure day-to-day operations and maintenance of the applications (in-house and COTS) including their Azure infrastructure as well as work with client Technical Leader to develop a modernization roadmap for application that aligns with the organization strategy

The Enterprise Architecture team in Digital Technology at Baker Hughes is the technical doorkeeper for all implementations within the entire Baker Hughes landscape servicing multiple product companies. In this AWS centric role, my roles and responsibilities included technical/solutions designs, POCs, conducting technical and security review, assisting project teams to align implementation with Enterprise Strategies, provide technical consultation to project and support teams, hands-on work on issues reported in AWS implementations by project teams and building code pipelines for deployment etc.

Work Focus: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Apigee, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft SharePoint 2019/Online with focus on cloud native solutions, hybrid cloud configuration, cloud migrations, separation program from GE and data center exits.

• Design, present and implement custom solutions for automating business processes and automations for routine support requests by building native Azure automations using PaaS services like Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure API Management, Azure Automation, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Key Vaults, ARM Templates, PowerShell Runbooks, and Azure Cognitive Services etc.
• Design, setup, and implementation of automations using Terraform Enterprise
• Define the modernization roadmap for operations and user self-service.
• Perform the duties in capacity of Technical Architect for the Automations and Infrastructure Operations tracks for clients including British Petroleum and Siemens Healthineers

• Design and present technical solutions based on client requirements.
• Automate the platform and application support activities to increase the team’s overall productivity.
• Develop, support, and maintain applications in Azure, SharePoint 2013/2010 and SharePoint Online
• Requirement analysis, conducting user training and testing sessions, stakeholder management, deployments and support, work on POCs for new implementations and proposals.
• Implementation of interfaces with multiple systems like Salesforce, ServiceNow, Remedy, Project Online, SharePoint Online, Azure, Terraform and Azure DevOps
• Lead multiple migrations of SharePoint landscape from on-premises to Azure IaaS cloud, development of lite DMS solution on SharePoint Online and upgrading from ASM to ARM
• Responsible for designing and implementing multiple chat bots for assisting and solving problems of four different business functions. One bot is entirely conversational to assist employees with HR functions; second bot intends to provide end-to-end self-assistance to end users for solving routing support tickets; other two bots were developed to assist with specific areas in Azure infrastructure management and PMO related activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor the developers in team to enable implementing complex solutions and progress to future roles

• Engaging with end users/stakeholders to gather requirements, create functional and technical documents, user acceptance test scripts and project implementations.
• Implement Enterprise Document Management System for a leading UK based Oil & Gas company. Global program running across multiple regions and involves multiple tracks/projects. Tracks include – custom template development on SharePoint, large-scale migrations from existing DMS systems, defining enterprise information architecture and taxonomy.
• Responsible for creating various custom components on top of SharePoint 2010 to support the ways of working for business functions. This included custom workflows, event receivers, branding, bulk metadata updates, auto naming, multiple file format support, timer jobs etc. to name a few.
• Responsibilities include but not limited to proposal creation, technical estimations, use case creation, high level design, detailed level design, code development, code reviews, SIT/UAT review, defect tracking, issue resolutions, coordination, ELS etc.
• Involved in code upgrade for the custom DMS template to make way for the move from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013
• Involved with SharePoint 2010/2013 administration as well

In my role as Group Manager, Application Architecture, I drive modernization, strategy, and AI integration initiatives with a strong emphasis on delivery excellence. I lead the development and execution of comprehensive application and infrastructure modernization strategies, utilizing Azure native services to deliver innovative solutions.

My responsibilities include crafting go-to-market strategies and engaging in technical sales to identify and pursue opportunities for migration, transformation, and modernization projects, facilitating seamless digital transformation for organizations Additionally, I have been actively involved in delivering client projects focused on modernization, performance optimization, and in-house product enhancement to support mainframe modernization engagements over the past six months.
