Design and implement engaging lessons to students in ELA and Teen Leadership. Differentiate for student success. Establish positive rapport with students and parents through constant communication and relationship building. Effective collaborator and communicator.

Design, implement and evaluate a comprehensive school counseling program based on the ASCA National Model that focuses on helping all students attain academic, personal/social, and career development. Counsel students in grades 5-6, to address issues such as academic performance, social skills, self-esteem, anxiety, bullying, and anger. Direct and co-lead weekly guidance lessons, update 504 paperwork, and maintain communication with parents.

Designed and implemented lesson plans for students at different learning levels. Utilized a variety of lesson methods including cooperative learning, projects, discussion, thinking maps, and Avid strategies to create a successful learning environment for all students.
