As a young boy my father launched myself and my younger brothers into an individual sport. Through the blessing of an amazing coach I was taught how to work hard, harder than I ever knew I could, I was taught how to tap into my inner self and bring out the best I could within myself for the sport. I was taught characteristics that I am thankful to my core for having learned at a young age; Integrity, Competitiveness, management of emotions on the highest of stages in the world, taught thankfulness and gratuity, grace and understanding, how to lose and learn from the experience, and how to be humble in our wins, more than anything I was taught that it doesn't matter how hard you can hit, it matters how hard you can get hit, and still get back up.
