I have been working for almost 7 years, since I was 14, and pride myself in my work ethic and reliability. I work hard to put myself through school, and when I am not working or in class/doing schoolwork, I am volunteering at homeless shelters in SLO county. I am quick learner and have dealt with being under pressure in fast-paced environments in the work force. My experience working in different positions has taught me a lot about not only customer service and satisfaction, but also dealing with people in general. I always do the best I possibly can at anything I put myself in.
The work I did at Firestone Grill consisted of working the cash register, serving food to tables, pouring beer/wine, stocking, organizing, cleaning/sanitizing, dish washing, and general customer service. In addition, Firestone Grill was a very fast-paced restaurant so I am very familiar with working under pressure.
The work I did as an elderly caregiver mostly consisted of helping my client with everyday activities such as eating, showering and household chores. Working as a caregiver taught me a lot and strengthened useful skills I still use when working, such as my patience and understanding when dealing with people, especially the elderly.
The work I dod at Giovannis consisted of fish handling, food preparation, money handling, cleaning, dish washing, heavy lifting, and general customer service.
The work I did at Zen Shak mostly consisted of money handling, stocking, cleaning, pricing, and general customer service. I also worked the farmers market often so I am familiar with fast-paced environments.
