Hunter Wierstra

Highly motivated candidate with demonstrated experience in an abundance of tasks ranging from teaching a wide age range of students all the way to being a farm supervisor and putting my mechanical skills to a more sustainable practice in the real world. In addition, the skills I have obtained while studying electrical engineering while accomplishing my associates degree as well as studying energy systems engineering while getting my bachelor's degree has prepared me for a job in the field. I am eager to get out in the industry and use my engineering skills to solve complex problems with better solutions for a better and more sustainable future.

I really enjoy wrenching on vehicles in my free time. In general, I also like have a huge interest in cars and trucks and everything that makes them run. In addition, I love to ride dirt bikes as well as work on them. I developed a huge interest and love for computers in the 7th grade when with some help bought all the materials and built my first computer. Similarly to the vehicles, I love camping out of my 1989 toyota van that I have built out to camp in. It has a full solar setup with batteries and a bed frame. I not only enjoy camping in the van but also when backpacking and hiking in a tent.
