Summary

My name is Ireen Banaag Reyes, and I am writing to express my interest in the FNP position. I am a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner seeking a FNP position in your center. With over 29 years of clinical experience in diverse settings, offering excellent patient assessment skills and a dedication to providing holistic, high-quality care. I am passionate about building relationships with patients to create a sense of trust and care. My background as a registered nurse has been primarily in the surgical setting and mostly Post Anesthetic Care Unit. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with patients in vulnerable moments of their life, being in pain, recovering from their surgery. After gaining experience for 29 years, I decided to further my education and graduated from the United States University on August 22, 2022 with Master’s degree in Nursing with family nurse practitioner as my specialty. With my background in surgical renal transplant unit for five years, emergency room for two years, urology unit for four years, and PACU for 15 years paired with my years of excellent work and academic attainments from the Philippines, Cambridge, England, and the United States, I am a well-deserved candidate to represent the institution. My experience as a nurse in three different countries, taught me great lessons about multi diverse culture.

As a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner, I provide competent, well-rounded care to my patients in the Urgent Care. It’s critical for an Urgent Care NP to know when to intervene and when to not intervene, to help family and caregivers and even the patient themselves understand, and to always focus on the patient and their family in acute critical situations. As a Director of Patient Care Services for Precise Hospice, when I care for someone, I enter a relationship with them that is mutually agreed upon. Quality is additionally a major aspect of my practice, as it involves making sure that I always treat them as if they were my own family. As an NP for Body and Movement, a weight loss clinic, One of my goals is to help them maintain a healthy lifestyle and improve their health. I firmly believe that patients are the driving force behind their own health care. In addition to being able to educate them about their current state, I also aim to provide them with the necessary tools and resources to make informed decisions. With my determination, I would be honored to be part of your organization and contribute to the excellence of your team.
