Summary

I never wanted to be a product of my environment; I’ve always wanted the environment to be a product of me. I am a quick-witted, personable leader and gentle caretaker at heart. I have always viewed myself as someone that has a mission to help others grow to meet their fullest potential. I have just over five years of experience in the broad therapeutic realm of mental health including roles in the Department of Health Services working in permanency planning or foster care, Habitat for Humanity, and more. For most of these years being utilized as a top-notch case manager and care coordinator. I also have a business background in management/entrepreneurship where I picked up some fantastic networking and interpersonal skills over the years by creating my own personal training business back when I was in college as well as my first managing experiences at Wal-Mart during that same period where I learned corporate structures and efficiencies. This managing foundation accompanied by my love for helping people fostered the efficient, dedicated leader that I am today. I am currently working as one of two co-leads of the Oklahoma City Behavioral Intervention Services and Supports program for Creoks Behavioral Health Services. In this role I lead over 20 different schools in the Oklahoma City Public School District in meeting the mental health needs of their students by providing quality care coordination and case management. My next opportunity will utilize this experience and skills I have and focus it to better help those that truly need it in a world where mental health is ever-changing.

During my first school year alongside collecting my own caseload of generally over sixty clients, I set up referral systems for the schools, organize multi-disciplinary team meetings for each school, trained and continue to supervise a team of behavioral health coaches embedded at each of my schools, and have served clients countless times on crisis response teams for said schools

In my own case work, I have conduct intakes, assessments of client's situations, identifying strengths, goals, and interventions when needed. Not to mention hours of resource gathering and collection for clients needing various items from food and clothing all the way to birthday presents and Halloween costumes.

Years of maintaining accurate documentation on my cases ensuring compliance with regulations and policies

I embed therapists and coaches that work on site at schools in order to deeply network with each of my schools to make sure all parties are understood and working together to assist our clients

During this second school year we have doubled the number of schools in our clusters requiring us to expand and have also recently expanded into the Mid-Del City School District where I have started to assist in the training of staff being hired there, Case Managers and Behavioral Health coaches alike
