Managed and issued every piece of respiratory equipment onboard, while also providing training on
safety protocols for operations such as sanding, painting, and blasting in an industrial environment.
During the INSERV inspection, which determines the ship's ability to function and complete its mission, as the sole independent Respiratory Program Manager, scored a 100% on my field of industrial safety under OSHA regulations and guidelines.

I used my leadership skills onboard the ship to ensure maintenance completion, safety compliance, and managing an entire Workcenter with over $70,000 worth of life saving and damage control equipment onboard, in addition to managing personnel on how to perform tasks and maintenance with and on said equipment.
Led a small team in completing over 490 man-hours of mechanical maintenance on firefighting and lifesaving equipment, resulting in a 97% passing score for the ship's Mobility Damage Control certification, the highest of any ship on the Pacific Fleet for that fiscal year.
Received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for the supervision of my small team and preparing the ship for any casualty.
